What is This Workshop offers:
The Theatre in Education workshop immerses educators in hands-on learning with theatre-based strategies to enhance the educational experience. Through activities like theatre games, puppetry, and group projects, participants foster creativity, empathy, and communication while developing essential 21st-century skills. This dynamic approach encourages imagination and inquiry, helping educators find innovative ways to motivate students. By integrating physical movement and emotional expression, the workshop reinforces language skills and promotes teamwork, divergent thinking, and personal expression, making the teaching-learning process engaging and relevant for all.
What’s in the process:
The Theatre in Education workshop aims to empower teachers through artistic expression, critical thinking, and social awareness. By engaging in self-discovery, creativity, and exploration of societal roles, participants develop empathy, teamwork, a deeper understanding of the world, and the ability to integrate these skills into their teaching practices to make learning enjoyable, meaningful, and creative.

Rs 15,000/- per participents

for 10 days.

Healthy vegetarian food will be served
– Breakfast @ Youthhostel
– Lunch @ IIET (workshop venue)
– Dinner @ Youthhostel
– Morning tea / coffee and duing workshop Tea / Coffee will be served.
Accommodation:
Saparate dormitories for men and women.
Please note: Smoking and Drinking alcohol is strictly prohibited
The candidates pay for transportation from the youth hostel to the workshop venue.

Schedule
– 9am to 6:30 PM is scheduled for diffrent activites / talks.
– From April 4th to 7th Workshop will take place at IIET from morning 9:AM to 6:30PM
– April 8th : As part of the workshop you will go out and explore Mysore. Certain tasks will be given to explore mysore. You will manage lunch and dinner on your own.
– From April 9th to 12th Workshop will take place at IIET from morning 9:AM to 6:30PM.
– April 13th (upto 3PM) is the last day there will be certificate distribution as well feedback sessions.
